My tumblr followers will be pleased to know that I will stop bitching due to the following:

1. My thesis draft is COMPLETE!

I was writing all day today in the studio and I sat in shock for 30 minutes after I was done.  I cleaned everything up and hiked back to the car.  I spent my entire ride home SQUEALING LIKE A LITTLE GIRL.

2. My neighbor helped me defeat the smoke detector horcrux

This thing has been beeping from 3 am to 6 am for the past three nights.  First night I tried to get on my chair to get it and that was laughably hopeless.  Second night I brought the ladder up and I STILL couldn’t reach it.  So, I got my neighbor to help me and as soon as he unhooked it from the wall it FREAKED OUT and started beeping like crazy.  It took him awhile to figure out how it was hooked in.  Once he unplugged it, it made a noise like it was dying.  I am not even kidding.  HORCRUX DEFEATED!
