Imagine you see a news article about politicians advocating something really fucked up. Imagine that fucked up politician is in Tennessee. This is really likely because the tea party movement is based there. An appropriate response is to be angry and disturbed. An inappropriate response is to bash the entire population of Tennessee.

While I wish tn would stop making it so hard to be from there, I also wish most of the population would stop being classist assholes in response to it.
